Direct Output Level Adjustment
A +19 / +4 dBu switch on the bottom enables precise control over the output level. This direct feature enhances signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) for sensitive active monitors, effectively preventing distortion and overload. Additionally, it helps maintain TotalMix FX faders near 0 dB, avoiding deep attenuations.
Enhanced Audio Quality
Equipped with a Full SteadyClock FS circuit similar to that in the ADI-2 Pro FS, this device ensures the lowest jitter and highest jitter immunity. This delivers superior audio performance and consistency.
Improved Phone Output
The 3.5 mm TRS phone output power has been increased from 70 mW to 90 mW. This results in a significant improvement in Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) by up to 10 dB. The output now uses the same high-quality op-amps found in the ADI-2 Pro, and the output impedance has been reduced from 2 Ohms to 0.1 Ohms, providing a clearer sound.
Enhanced Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR)
Mic and line inputs have seen notable improvements in SNR. The SNR for mic inputs has increased from 112.2 dB to 113.7 dB, while the SNR for TRS line inputs has improved from 114 dB to 116.3 dB (120 dBA). THD for line inputs has been improved by 8 dB, ensuring exceptional audio quality.
Reduced Latency
On the AD side, new ADC technology has reduced latency by 6 samples (5 AD, 7 DA), making it the most efficient option available.
